“UrI,” meaning ‘We-self’ in korean, is a concept in which the individual extends the self and embodies a universal connectivity to all beings and environment.
Uri Is Us is a series of artworks created with Midjourney to visualize uri, inspired by“Learning Korean Culture: Embodied Visuality,” an ongoing research project conducted philosophy professor Matthew Crippen for the 10th Budapest Visual Learning Conference, FACING THE FUTURE, FACING THE SCREEN.
